One of the most frequently asked questions by students interested in  off-campus housing is how it affects financial aid. Generally, at most state owned universities, most people who live off-campus receive the same amount of financial aid as those that do not. A student's financial aid package is generally not affected by his or her decision on where to live while attending the University.
